Didn't believe it but sure enough you can build one for $50,000.

This is totally unrelated, but look at my recent posts. I was trying to reach you yesterday but you weren't online. :P
And on the subject of this Jeep: I'd drive it if money wasn't a problem. Wouldn't a hardtop make it cost even more, though? I know nothing about these things, so maybe that's cheaper for some reason...

The online configurator shows a soft top even if you select a hard top.
It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand.
(neither do I).

Damn, I hate that. Just once I would like to find a normal configurator that actually shows the changes I make... (Normal meaning something other than Rolls Royce, Maserati, etc.)

Crazy, but why shouldn't they get in on the action when others are selling for a lot more. Have a look at these $100K+ wranglers:

And in ten years with 100,000 miles, it'll be on a used car lot for $25,000.00.

The hard tops do cost more than the soft tops. I think it adds 1,500 to the overall price. Still a lot of money for a car your just going to burry in the mud!

It's crazy that a maxed up Wrangler is not far from the highest end luxury Grand Cherokee

May have got these two backwards when I read it and that made it weird.
